About Robyn

Wild Robyn Art is a Melbourne-based surface pattern design studio creating story-led collections inspired by personal histories, collected objects and the beauty of the handmade process. Originally from New Zealand, Robyn draws on the natural world, quiet nostalgia and everyday observations to create designs rich with character and nuance.

 

With a background in both art and textile education, Robyn combines traditional techniques - including painting, drawing, carving and hand stamping - with digital refinement to develop richly detailed repeat patterns for fabric, stationery and homewares. Each collection brings with it a unique narrative that has evolved through research, mark-making and experimentation. The result is richly composed sets of layered complementary designs that balance craftsmanship with commercial versatility.

 

Each collection is designed to seamlessly translate across fabrics, home furnishings, and paper goods.
