Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Wild Robyn Art ("we", "us", "our") is a sole trader business that licenses surface pattern designs, based in Victoria, Australia ABN: 80 450 048 863. This policy explains what personal information we collect through wildrobynart.com, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices you have. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at admin@wildrobynart.com.

2. What information we collect

Information you give us. This can include your name, email address, company or organisation, job title, phone number (if you provide it), and the content of any message you send us through our contact form, including licensing enquiries and requests for portfolio access. It also includes your email address if you join our newsletter.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the website you came from. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

Portfolio access requests. If you ask for access to our password-protected portfolio, we collect the details you give us (such as your name, email, company and role) so we can review your request and, if approved, send you the password. Please don't share the password with others.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, political or religious details. Please don't include any in messages to us.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you (for example when you fill in a form, or email us) and automatically through our website and the tools we use to run it. We only collect information we reasonably need to run our business.

4. Why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • review and respond to enquiries, including licensing enquiries and portfolio access requests

  • give approved visitors access to our password-protected portfolio

  • send you our newsletter and updates, if you have signed up (see section 5)

  • understand how our website is used so we can improve it

  • keep proper business, tax and accounting records

  • meet our legal obligations and protect our rights

We will not use your information for a different purpose unless you would reasonably expect it, you consent, or the law allows or requires it.

5. Newsletter and marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who have signed up or otherwise agreed to receive them, for example by ticking the newsletter box on our contact form. Sending us an enquiry or requesting portfolio access does not automatically add you to our mailing list. Every email includes a clear way to unsubscribe, and we will action unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing admin@wildrobynart.com. We manage our mailing list through Wix
Email Marketing.

6. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies, which keep the website working, including the password-protected portfolio.

  • Analytics cookies, which help us see how visitors use the site through Wix Analytics. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you block essential cookies.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Wix, which hosts our website, runs our contact form, provides our website analytics and sends our emails

  • our accountant or bookkeeper, if we use one

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, such as to a court, regulator or law enforcement agency.

9. Security and how long we keep information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using secure, reputable platforms and limiting who can access it. No online system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

We keep business and financial records for at least five years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Other information, such as enquiry emails, is kept only as long as it is useful, and is then deleted or de-identified. If we become aware of a data breach likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Your rights: access, correction and deletion

You can ask us at any time to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete

  • delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or tax reasons

To make any of these requests, email us at admin@wildrobynart.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will aim to respond within 30 days.

11. Links to other websites and social media

Our website may link to other sites, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please read their policies. Information you share on social media platforms is governed by those platforms' terms.

12. Children

Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please contact us first at [contact email]. We will investigate and reply in writing.
